SemiOMantics and its Universal Vibration

As recently analyzed by Alternative Healing Specialist and qualified Hypnotherapist Edi Carlisle from Chile in a fascinating article on the new word SEMIOMANTICS, the "… universal vibration of this new word semiomantics has the number of “1”.  Its interpretations are new beginnings, much activity, pioneering spirit, new discoveries and/or new creations."

But there’s more to it!

While I went into the significance of SEMIO in an earlier article, the OM - that’s basically combining the two main parts of the word - literally jumps into one’s eye, especially if familiar with Eastern Philosophy, Yoga and Meditation.

Om symbolizes the most profound concepts of Hindu belief - standing for omnipotent, omnipresent, and the source of all manifest existence. As such, Om is called pranava, meaning that it pervades life and runs through our prana . . . or breath.

OM plays an important part in normal daily life as well. When I lived in Bakhtapur in Nepal in the mid 80’s, each morning started with cleansing rituals and the sacred OM resonating from the crystal-clear skies. Whenever we chant Om - often before and after yoga or meditation or simply to purify ourselves - we create within ourselves a vibration that penetrates the center of who we are and attunes with the cosmic vibration. We start thinking universally… until there is no more thought… and we reach that state of trance where the individual transcends into all that is.

Each new-born baby was welcomed to the world with the holy sign and, after a cleansing celebration, OM would be written on its tongue with a golden honey - a symbol of piety for Life.   

 "Om is the one eternal syllable of which all that exists is but the development. The past, the present, and the future are all included in this one sound, and all that exists beyond the three forms of time is also implied in it". (Mandukya Upanishad)

The Music of OM

Om is not just a word but an intonation. It consists of three Sanskrit letters, aa, au and ma which together form Aum or OM. In Hindu belief this is the basic sound of the world and it contains all other sounds. It is in itself a mantra.

Within the centre of the word SEMIOMANTICS, OM transcends the barriers of gender, age, race, culture, space and time. While the Art of Semiomantics is the right tuning of its codes as perceived by a brilliant mind, the Art of its few selected and fortunate users is to intonate it consistently, reaching out through the wave-harmonics of the virtual world - being forerunner, pioneer… Sign, Signal and Significance. . . and as Edi put it: Number ONE!
