To Communicate You need to get Yourself Centered First

Everything in the Universe is in perfect harmony - and as a tiny part of this gigantic ‘whole’ so should we. Illness is a sign of dis-harmony, war is no different and so is everything that’s in one way or another ‘out of balance’ and puts us into ‘fear’ – be it big or small, be it a nation, a community, a team, a family or a couple.
And it’s no different in Business – and this means Teamwork. Harmony within the Team. Strangely enough, while we are gifted with brilliant minds and imagination to conceive the most fantastic concepts and ideas – especially if several bright minds think alike without judgement and inhibition nor hind-thoughts – it seems that human beings are the ‘irritating factor’ within a balanced Universe! They just seem to have problems to cooperate with one another. Look around into a competitive world of trial and deceipt.
This shouldn’t be – and we shouldn’t accept it. It needs reaction in form of Leadership:
YOUR Leadership!
If you don’t agree with what surrounds you, be first in bringing Change - even if it’s just around you, even if it’s just by leading by example, even if that means doing the uncomfortable, being ridiculed, being laughed at. Don’t get trapped by false pretensions: if it feels right for you, go your own way and… lead!
Trust your inner guidance! Don’t wait for anyone to guide you – you guide!
Don’t wait for anyone to support you – be support. Lead by representing the love and purity in thought and action you would want to surround yourself with in an ‘ideal world’ – the world you would love to create and leave for your children.
Teach cooperation and teamwork through your own Passion of living and leading it… and see how it benefits the whole far better than any ‘lone wolf’ style. Besides, you will see far bigger accomplishments in a Team effort and… having done this together and having triggered the best in those who cooperate with you will bring so much Happiness and Fulfillment to everybody as a personal reward.
Having practiced Kriya Yoga and Zen Meditation for many years and having lived for over 30 years with a visionary artist and architect whose designs and sculptures all focused on the universal principle of harmony – and how the whole collapses if this perfect order is harmed or destroyed -, I am so fully aware of the importance of getting centered within oneself, finding that place of absolute stillness where great Wisdom lies for each one of us to bring out into the world in our unique personal way. It’s in everybody – and while our current world of plastic overflow and superficiality wants to impose on us that satisfaction lies in material goods OUTSIDE ourselves, I challenge you to listen inside and find Peace. You do not need to fight. You do not need to compete. Just Know … Know that everything is within you, trust your Inner Voice and believe that you can achieve anything you set your mind to followed by plan and action.
Our’s is a world of Choice - we choose in every moment of our Life whether we take a walk in Nature and get embalmed in its never-ending flow of energy and deep wisdom… OR slouch on the couch with Chips and Beer opening yourself to the next cataclyptic &ampquotNews".
Watch where your thoughts are at that very moment! Watch where your ‘center’ goes!
What we focus on expands.
You choose Energy or Cataclysm. And you become what you think and focus on.
It’s as simple as that.
I believe there is incredible Beauty, Peace and Harmony out there that waits for us to be inhaled, lived and shared. It was what I focused on as a tiny child – and it hasn’t changed. It never will – because that’s my perception of Harmony and it’s part of my Purpose and what I bring to others. It may seem little – but it’s my humble contribution.
This morning, when a client came to my home to get guidance for radically changing some issues in her life – she stopped and looked at my garden where everything was personally planted and nurtured over years – often with extreme hardship and sacrifice – and where wild Egyptian Geese ‘rub nose’ with cats – and she said:
‘Having created such a place of Harmony – a Paradise – is worth having lived.’
It made me think, it made me humble for being able to create this ‘Space of Trust’ – and it made me write these lines for you.
It’s about YOUR Dream. It’s about living it NOW!

As we start the New Year 2009 and we want to get closer to those values so dear to us, take some quiet time and get centered. Stop the nonsense chatter on the one side of your brain and get into the abundant universe of endless possibilities in the other.
Focus on these questions and answer them:
What is your Purpose?
What drives you?
What did you come to accomplish – and are you on track? Doing what exactly?
THIS is what will raise your level of Consciousness not only for yourself but also for those around you, those entrusted to you, those you work with and the world surrounding you.
This makes you see yourself reflected in the other – where all is One.
Hurting the other means hurting yourself.
Uplifting the other will raise you too.
Being part of the other you’re never alone.
And this may just be the greatest challenge of our human existence: to overcome the perception of Separation. From there on will be Harmony.
